wtea(Utica, NY – Feb. 2016) The Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s is a movement to reclaim the future for millions. The 2016 Walk to End Alzheimer’s — Utica/Rome will take place April 24 at SUNY Polytechnic Institute. More than 500 people from the Mohawk Valley are expected at this year’s event to raise awareness and funds to fight Alzheimer’s disease.

Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s participants will complete three-mile walk around the tree-lined campus, and learn about Alzheimer’s disease, advocacy opportunities, clinical studies enrollment and support programs and services from the Alzheimer’s Association. Walk participants will also join in a tribute ceremony to honor those affected by Alzheimer’s disease.
