(Sherrill) The KEYS Program is happy to announce it is offering a variety of music classes for the community to benefit its music outreach programs.
“We are very excited to be able to provide some really unique music programs for the community,” said Executive Director Colleen Bennett. “Our specialty at KEYS is music therapy and we are really looking forward to being able to share what we do every day with the community, while helping to raise funds for our outreach programming. It is really neat and a win-win for everyone.”
The KEYS Program is a 501c3 nonprofit organization located in Sherrill that delivers music, hope and smiles to kids battling cancer, and those in need of healing, through music outreach, education and advocacy. KEYS provides bedside music, family respite days and sibling support programs at no cost to families who have a child battling cancer or serious illness.
The Spring session of classes are being offered at the Sherrill-Kenwood Library and at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Verona. “Both the library and the church have welcomed us with open arms”, said Bennett. “It is great to be able to partner with them to utilize the beautiful space they each have. We can’t thank them enough.”
The spring session begins March 21 and includes the following classes:
· Empowerment Through Music (for parents and children ages birth through age 4)
