“Sept. 11 is a time for us to remember the lives lost on that terrible day 15 years ago, as well as the families who are still grieving and the first-responders and volunteers who sacrificed so much,” said Assemblyman Al Stirpe. “It’s up to us to honor their bravery and strength and stand united as a nation to carry on their memory.
“I’m pausing my campaign Sept. 11 in observation of this somber anniversary – it’s not the time for politics. We must use this day as an occasion for remembrance, service to our communities and for gratitude to the men and women who are still fighting to protect us and defend our freedoms.”
