State Police in Lysander arrested Tameeka C. Johnson, 37; and Christopher P. Cody, 20, both of 151 Old Liverpool Road, Salina, following an identity theft investigation.
The investigation revealed that Johnson stole the identification of a nursing home resident where she was employed and provided it to Cody who opened credit in the name of the elderly victim and made purchases resulting in a loss of more than $1,400.
They were arrested on separate dates, and both were lodged at the Onondaga County Justice Center pending arraignment.
- Tameeka Johnson was arrested Oct. 20, 2016, and charged with second-degree identity theft, a class “E” felony.
- Christopher Cody was arrested Dec. 12, 2016, and charged with fourth-degree grand larceny, second-degree identity theft and first-degree falsifying business records, all class “E” felonies. He was lodged at the Onondaga County Justice Center pending an arraignment in Syracuse City Court.
