(Chittenango, NY – Aug. 2014) Summer is winding down but there is still time to visit the All Things Oz Museum located at 219 Genesee St, Chittenango.

The museum pays tribute to L. Frank Baum, the creator of Oz who was born in Chittenango in 1856. The museum offers a variety of exhibits including Baum’s life and works, the 1939 Wizard of Oz movie, Wicked, The Wiz, other Oz authors and much more.

Admission is $5 per person. Children under 10 are free.

Times available before the new school year begins are: Wednesday Aug. 20 from noon to 4 p.m.; Thursday Aug. 21 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.; Friday Aug. 22 from 4 to 7 p.m.; Saturday Aug. 23 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Sunday Aug. 24 from noon to 3 p.m.; Wednesday Aug. 27 from noon to 4 p.m. and Saturday Aug. 30 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The museum will also open by appointment by calling 315-333-2286.

All Things Oz is all volunteer operated and is a 501C3 non-profit historical foundation.
