Marcy State Trooper injured while investigating Domestic Dispute

Marc Tucci(Marcy, NY – Dec. 11, 2014) On Dec. 10 at 7:20 p.m., Troopers from the SP Marcy barracks responded to a domestic dispute on Linda Drive in the Town of Marcy. The domestic involved a physical altercation between Marc A. Tucci, age 42, from Linda Drive, Marcy and a family member. While investigating the complaint, Marc Tucci struck Trooper Jeffery Ruhmel in the face causing physical injury. Trooper Ruhmel and his partner were subsequently able to take Tucci into custody.
Tucci was charged with second-degree Assault, a class “D” felony, Resisting Arrest, a class “A” misdemeanor, and second-degree Harassment, a violation.

He was arraigned in the Town of Marcy Court before the Honorable David Kozyra and was committed to the Oneida County Jail on $30,000 cash bail / $50,000 bond.

 

 

 

Whitesboro woman charged with Falsifying Business Records

Angela Stone(Marcy, NY – Dec. 11, 2014) On Dec. 9 the New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation in Marcy, in conjunction with the New York State Department of Narcotic Enforcement, arrested Angela L. Stone, age 44, from Briarcliff Avenue, Whitesboro for first-degree Falsifying Business Records, a class “E” Felony, and Possession of a prescribed Controlled substance, a violation of the NY State Public Health Law.

Stone is alleged to have falsified business records at Faxton Hospital in order to illegally obtain narcotic medications.

She was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the City of Utica Court on Dec. 15.

 

 

 

 

New Hartford man arrested on Burglary charges

Todd Laclair(Remsen, NY – Dec. 11, 2014) On Dec. 7 the New York State Police in Remsen arrested Todd P. Laclair, age 37, from Leard Road, New Hartford for second-degree Burglary, second-degree Aggravated Harassment and fourth-degree Stalking.

Laclair, a New York State parolee, is alleged to have broken into a house located in the Town of Trenton on two separate occasions and stolen property from within the house. He is also alleged to have threatened a female acquaintance.

Laclair was arraigned in the Town of Trenton Court before the Hon. Patrick VanBuskirk and was remanded to the Oneida County Jail on $3,750 cash bail or $7,500 bond.
