(Jan. 2013) Through a strategic alignment, Compeer of the Mohawk Valley, Inc. and Center for Family Life and Recovery, Inc. have agreed to enter into a mutually beneficial partnership, which entails the continuity of services being offered – to the Community – by Compeer of the Mohawk Valley, Inc.; now, as a program of Center for Family Life and Recovery, Inc. (effective immediately).

[Such as] securing additional support for our volunteers, mentees, Compeer’s Program, etc.”, said Judith H. Reilly, Compeer Coordinator for Center for Family Life and Recovery, Inc..
Compeer of the Mohawk Valley, Inc.’s Board President, Catherine (Cathy) Matusz, stated “on behalf of the entire Board of Directors [for Compeer], we are extremely excited about this new venture. It’s a wonderful opportunity, and a perfect match for both agencies. [And] I’m thrilled to have been a part of the strategic alignment facilitation between these two non-profits.”
In recognition of National Mentoring Month (January 2013), Center for Family Life and Recovery, Inc.’s Compeer Program cordially invites you to attend an Open House,on Monday, Jan. 28 from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at CFLR, Inc.’s corporate headquarters in Utica, New York (502 Court Street, Suite 401); to learn more about mentoring opportunities (i.e., such as becoming a supportive friend to an adult receiving mental health treatment, or an at-risk child), mental health issues and the resources available to improve our communities’ overall health and well-being.
