Area Resident Named to Alfred State’s Dean’s List

Dr. Stephen J. Havlovic, provost and vice president for academic affairs at Alfred State, has announced the Dean’s List of students for the fall 2012 semester.

The following was among the over 500 students from Alfred State who made the fall Dean’s List:

Stephen Breen, a resident of Manlius, NY – Electrical Engineering Tech

Stoddard named to Alfred University’s Dean’s List

Emily Stoddard is a resident of Manlius, NY. Stoddard, an Art and Desgin major is a junior in the School of an Art and Desgin. A graduate of Fayetteville-Manlius High School, Stoddard is the daughter of James and Doris Stoddard.

Students must earn at least a 3.5 grade point average to qualify for Dean’s List. Alfred University is ranked by U.S. News and World Report as one of the top regional universities in the Northeast. The master of fine arts (MFA) ceramics program at Alfred Univerity ranks as one of the tops in the nation.

SUNY Geneseo Announces President’s List

The State University of New York at Geneseo has announced its President’s List for the fall semester 2012. To be on the list, a student must have achieved an A in all coursework (4.0 grade point average) while taking at least 12 credit hours.

SUNY Geneseo Announces Dean’s List

The State University of New York at Geneseo has announced its Dean’s List for the fall semester 2012. To be on the list, a student must have achieved a 3.5 grade point average while taking at least 12 credit hours.

Mastropaolo Named to Dean’s List

Emily Grace B. Mastropaolo of Manlius has been named to the Dean’s List at Western New England for the fall semester of 2012. Mastropaolo is a sophomore majoring in General Biology. Students are named to the Dean’s List for achieving a semester grade point average of 3.30 or higher.

Local Student Named To St. Lawrence University Dean’s List

The following student has been selected for inclusion on the Dean’s List for academic achievement during the fall 2012 semester at St. Lawrence University in Canton, New York. To be eligible for the Dean’s List at St. Lawrence University, a student must have completed at least four semester units and have an academic average of 3.6 (based on a perfect 4.0 scale) for the semester.

Dante M. Capriotti of Manlius; Capriotti, a member of the class of 2016, graduated from Fayetteville-Manlius High School.

Murphy Named to Dean’s List

Sarah Murphy of Manlius has been named to the Dean’s List (with honors) at the University of New Hampshire for the fall semester of the 2012-2013 academic year.

Students named to the Dean’s List at the University of New Hampshire have earned recognition through their superior scholastic performance. Highest Honors are awarded to students who earn a semester grade point average of 3.85 or better out of a possible 4.0. Students with a 3.65 to 3.84 average are awarded high honors and students whose grade point average is 3.5 through 3.64 are awarded honors.

University of Rhode Island students are named to the Dean’s List

The University of Rhode Island is pleased to announce that 4,199 undergraduates have qualified for the Fall 2012 Dean’s List. The students represent nearly all of Rhode Island’s cities and towns, all six New England states, New York and New Jersey, and many other states and nations.

The following local students have been named to URI’s Fall 2012 Dean’s List:

To be included on the Dean’s List, students must have completed 12 or more credits during a semester for letter grades with at least a 3.30 quality point average. Part-time students qualify with the accumulation of 12 credits with a 3.30 quality point average.

Nazareth College Announces Dean’s List

Nazareth College is proud to announce the following students have earned dean’s list honors for the Fall 2012 semester:

Shelby Bronsophomoren of Manlius is a freshman studying Occupational Science.

Kelley Dew of Manlius is a senior studying Nursing.

Erin Marsden of Manlius is a freshman studying Nursing.

A student’s grade point average must be at least 3.5 or above, and they must complete 12 credit hours of graded work that semester in order to be included on the dean’s list at Nazareth.
