(Marcy, NY – Feb. 7, 2013) – On February 6, 2013, the New York State Police BCI in Marcy arrested Dwayne McCord, 19, an inmate at Midstate Correctional Facility after he was found to possess dangerous prison contraband, a homemade shank.
McCord was charged with first-degree Possession of Dangerous Prison Contraband and third-degree Criminal Possession of a Weapon, both felonies.
He remains in the custody of the New York State Department of Correction and will be arraigned in the Town of Marcy Court on March 14.
