(Utica NY – Feb. 28, 2013) The Utica College Department of Performing and Fine Arts will present its annual spring play, “Neighborhood 3: Requisition of Doom,” by Jennifer Haley.

The performances will take place Thursday, March 7 through Saturday, March 9 at 8 p.m., with a matinee on Sunday, March 10 at 2 p.m. General admission tickets are $4 each; all performances are in Strebel Auditorium, Strebel Student Center.

The story opens in a suburban community filled with teenagers addicted to an online zombie video game. The object of the game is to escape and destroy the zombie army – all fun and games until the lines between the virtual and real worlds begin to blur.

The play has garnered rave reviews over the last few years from publications such as Variety Magazine, The Denver Post, and the Louisville Courier-Journal claiming that it is much “like a nifty episode of The Twilight Zone, the story builds to an affectingly gruesome finale.”
