(Herkimer, NY – March 2013) The Herkimer Community Museum will be adding dinosaur eggs again this year to the Village of Herkimer’s annual Easter Egg Hunt. There will be 32 dinosaur eggs included in the hunt, each of which will contain candy and a free pass to the Herkimer Community Museum.

The Herkimer Community Museum is a child and family-friendly educational resource located at 301 N. Prospect Street in the Village of Herkimer that features exhibits on dinosaurs and ancient Egypt, as well as a hands-on fossil dig room and a gift shop.

The Village of Herkimer’s Easter Egg Hunt will take place Saturday, March 23 at 11 am in Myers Park (N. Bellinger and Park Ave). In case of rain, the Easter Egg Hunt will be held in the gymnasium of St. Francis De Sales School at 219 N. Bellinger St. (just across from Myers Park).
