) The International Boxing Hall of Fame is busy planning the 24th Annual Hall of Fame Induction Weekend, scheduled for June 6 to 9, and is actively seeking additional volunteers for the many events.
“We have hundreds of volunteers who help each year in making the Weekend a success,” said Hall of Fame Executive Director Edward Brophy. “There are so many ways a person can help the effort, whether it’s working at the refreshment stand, the gift shop, the membership booth, helping with security, manning phones at the information booth or driving a celebrity in the Parade of Champions.”
“It’s a great way to be involved in a fun community event,” said Brophy.
The Hall of Fame is asking those who are interested in volunteering for the first time to please call the Hall of Fame at 697-7095 for more information.
