(North Syracuse, NY – April 10, 2013)  The New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) at North Syracuse announce the arrest of Jason M. Frank, age 27, of Rochester, NY for Attempted Dissemination of Indecent Material to a Minor and Attempted Endangering the Welfare of a Child.

The arrest stemmed from an investigation conducted by the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (ICAC) and the Attorney General’s Office, the State Police Computer Crimes Unit, State Police North Syracuse, Rochester, and Latham BCI units.  Jason Frank(2)

Frank was arrested after arriving at a predetermined location in the Syracuse area where at he had made plans to meet a girl who was believed to be 12 years of age for the purpose of engaging in sexual conduct.

The investigation is ongoing and additional charges are pending in North Syracuse and Rochester, NY.  Frank was arraigned in the Town of Bethlehem court.  He was committed to the Albany County Jail with no bail and his next appearance is scheduled for April 12 at 10 a.m.
