(Herkimer, NY – May 2013) The Herkimer County College Foundation is accepting applicants for a full-tuition scholarship, for the first year of study at Herkimer County Community College, being made possible through the Thomas J. & Joann L. Casale Family Scholarship Fund at HCCC. It is available to a 2013 graduating senior at Herkimer High School who must be planning to enroll at HCCC full-time in the Fall 2013 semester.
The applicant must file a FAFSA and TAP application. The award is valid only for use at Herkimer. Student must write an essay on “The positives about Herkimer and growing up here.” Essays should be mailed to Jan Fuhrer, HCC Foundation, 100 Reservoir Road, Herkimer, NY 13350 no later than June 28, 2013.
