(Westmoreland, NY – May 14, 2013) The New York State Police BCI in Marcy has concluded a month long investigation into a residential burglary that occurred on Skinner Raod in the Town of Westmoreland. The home was forcibly entered and currency along with numerous electronic items was stolen from within. After an investigation conducted by Inv Allen Svitak, he charged the following two individuals:
Michael J. Calandra, 32, of 714 North Madison St. Rome was arrested April 26 and was charged with second-degree Burglary (felony). He was arraigned in the Town of Floyd Court and was committed to the Oneida County Jail on $30,000 bail.

John M. Coccagnia, 34, of 706 Oakwood St, Rome was arrested May 13 and was charged with second-degree Burglary (felony) and fifth-degree Criminal Possession of Stolen Property (misdemeanor). He was arraigned in the Town of Westmoreland Court and was committed to the Oneida County Jail on $20,000 bail.
