(Lee, NY – May 22, 2013) On Tuesday, May 21, 2013, at approximately 11:35 p.m., State Police patrols in Lee stopped a vehicle on State Route 26 in the Town of Lee for failure to keep right.
The operator of the vehicle, 35-year-old Monica L. Gonzalez of Rome was charged with Felony Aggravated DWI, Endangering the Welfare of a Child, and multiple traffic infractions.
A breath test administered by Trooper Richard Snyder revealed Gonzalez’s blood alcohol content to be .24 percent while she had all 4 of her children, ages 10 and below as passengers in the vehicle.
Gonzalez was remanded to the Oneida County Jail in lieu of bail. She was to appear at Lee Town Court on May 22 at 4:30 p.m.
