(Cazenovia, NY – June 2013) Cazenovia College’s 2013 Summer Art Series will host “Pastel Artists of Central New York,” a juried exhibition of work by artists who work in pastels.The exhibition will run through Sunday, Aug. 4, at the Cazenovia College Art Gallery in Reisman Hall. More than 30 artists will show their work, including Jane Woodruff Carroll of Cazenovia; and Mary Padgett of New Woodstock. Work includes still life, landscape, portraiture and other styles.

The Cazenovia College Art Gallery in Reisman Hall, 6 Sullivan St., is on the Florentino-River in Ripariuscorner of Sullivan and Seminary streets in Cazenovia. All exhibitions are free and open to the public, and the gallery is handicapped accessible. Summer Art Series hours are Friday, 6-8 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, 1-4 p.m.

Saturday, June 29, 1-2 p.m. – Commercial Art Supply Pastel Product Demonstration

Saturday, July 13, 1-2 p.m. – Gallery Exhibition Tour with Pastel Artist Mary Padgett
