Seminar with Actor Matt Malloy

(Earlville, NY – July 2013) Matt Malloy has found a break in his busy summer schedule to give a seminar on acting and its applications to everyday life on Sunday July 21 from noon to 3 p.m. at the Earlville Opera House.

matt malloyAmerican character actor Matt Malloy, who splits his time between California and Hamilton, made his TV debut in Robert Altman’s 1988 political satire “Tanner 88,” co-starring Sex and the City’s Cynthia Nixon.  Malloy played Deke Conners, an East Village filmmaker, in this high-profile TV series.

He also guest-starred on six episodes of HBO’s Six Feet Under and has appeared on numerous police-themed shows, including Law & Order, Law & Order:  Special Victims Unit, NCIS, NYPD Blue, Third Watch, and Without a Trace.

This summer, he’ll be filming in New York for three episodes of Royal Pains on the USA network.  Malloy will give a seminar and use exercises to explore the craft of acting as it applies to everyday life, using the EOH historical theater, the Arts Café, and the Old Lobby for acting exercises.
