Herkimer County Community College Phi Beta Lambda member, James Hunt accepting his award at the Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda National Leadership Conference in Anaheim, Calif.
(Herkimer, NY – July 2013) Herkimer County Community College students recently attended the Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda (FBLA-PBL) National Leadership Conference in Anaheim, Calif.
The conference included a comprehensive competitive events program sponsored by FBLA-PBL, the largest and oldest student business organization whose mission is to bring business and education together in a positive working relationship through innovative leadership and career development programs.
Herkimer College Phi Beta Lambda members, James Hunt and Jonathan Knickerbocker, participated in business and leadership development competitions during the conference. Hunt competed in the Networking Concepts event and placed eighth in the Database Design and Applications event. Knickerbocker competed in the Business Communication event.
