(Canastota, NY – July 2013) The Canastota Community Band under the direction of Paul L. Shiffer will present a traditional summertime band concert on Thursday, Aug. 8 at 6:30 p.m. at the International Boxing Hall of Fame Amphitheater as part of the Canastota Recreation Commission’s Summer Concert Series.
The program will consist of marches, show tunes and popular music.
The Canastota Community Band is comprised of approximately 30 musicians ranging in age from middle school to age 80 plus. They perform in parades and concerts throughout the year.
This concert is free and open to the public.
