(New Hartford, NY – Aug. 2013) Bremer’s Wine & Liquor of New Hartford recently announced that its second annual Bremer’s Charity Open golf tournament was a success. Proceeds from the golf tournament, which was held June 19 at the Skenandoa Golf Club in Clinton, will once again benefit the Boys & Girls Club of the Mohawk Valley.
Last year, with the help of business partners and hole sponsorships, Bremer’s was able to donate $10,000 to the Boys & Girls Club of the Mohawk Valley. This year, the company was able to raise an additional $3,000 for the organization.
“We had hoped for the same success as last year,” said co-owner Tim Bremer. “That we were able to surpass that is an incredible feeling, and we’re pleased to be able to help the Boys & Girls Club of the Mohawk Valley continue their valuable services.”
“The Boys & Girls Club of the Mohawk Valley is the organization in our area that we are most proud to put our name behind,” said co-owner Eric Bremer. “That we were able to raise this kind of money for them means a lot to us at Bremer’s, and we’re already looking forward to next year’s event.”
Both extend their thanks to all who helped make the Bremer’s Charity Open golf tournament a success.
“This wouldn’t be possible without the generosity of the many local businesses and individuals who contributed to the tournament,” said Tim. “We’re very grateful for their continued support.”
