(Town of Madison, NY – Sept. 2013) The Town of Madison Historical Society presents the history of Madison Central School with the President of the MCS School Board, Jona Snyder. The talk begins at 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 16 at the Madison Historical Society building on South Street.

Jona will talk about the early years of Madison Central; its growth over the years and little known facts about how the school has persevered through the years.

The building has grown in stages along with the community and educational programming evolved to meet the needs of today.  Jona, having graduated from MCS, has some personal observations about the school.

The public is invited and will be served refreshments after Jona’s talk.

The night is free but donations are accepted.
