(Morrisville, NY – Sept. 24, 2013) The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) announced its student-athlete of the week selections Monday night, naming Morrisville State senior runner, Billie Jo Hinds (Blossvale, N.Y.) the co-runner of the week for women’s cross country.
Hinds claimed her first win of the 2013 season at the six-kilometer Hobart Invitational on Saturday, besting the field of 67 runners with a finish time of 24:49.5, nearly a minute ahead of the second place finisher.
The senior is majoring in human performance and health promotion at Morrisville State and hails from Blossvale, NY.
