(Herkimer, NY – Oct. 11, 2013) Herkimer County Community College announces Student Government Association officers for 2013-14.
Avery McLemore, Poughkeepsie, NY, has been elected president. In this office, McLemore will also serve as student trustee on the College’s Board of Trustees. McLemore is majoring in Physical Therapist Assistant and is a graduate of Roy C. Ketcham Senior High School.
Adam Lisser, Rome, NY, will serve as vice president. Lisser is majoring in Criminal Justice: Cybersecurity and is a graduate of Rome Free Academy.
Angie Cayemitte, Brooklyn, NY, has been appointed treasurer. Cayemitte is majoring in Business: Sports & Recreation Management and is a graduate of Miami Norland Senior High School.
Trevon Williams, Little Falls, NY, has been appointed secretary. Williams is majoring in Liberal Arts & Sciences: Childhood Education and is a graduate of Thomas R. Proctor Senior High School.
Members of Herkimer’s Student Government Association are the voice of and advocates for the student body. The organization holds meetings twice a month and is open to all students who have paid a student activities fee.
