(Norwich, NY- Jan. 2014) The movie, “The Price of Sand” will be shown Tuesday Jan. 14 at 7 p.m. Founders Room of the United Methodist Church, 11 W. Main St. in Norwich.
This film depicts the beauty of an area before the industrial impacts, brought in the name of new jobs, by silica sand mining companies.
Free admission.
The viewing is part of “The Second Tuesday Monthly Film Series” sponsored by Chenango Community Action for Renewable Energy and Chenango County Peace Action.
