(Lafayette, NY – Jan. 28, 2014) State Police in Lafayette are investigating a one car fatal crash that occurred at 7:36 a.m. this morning on New Seneca Turnpike in the Town of Marcellus, Onondaga County.
The investigation revealed a 2006 Ford SUV, driven by Peter J. Thomson, age 49., from Highland Avenue in Skaneateles was driving northeast on New Seneca Turnpike when he lost control went off the roadway and struck a tree. Thomson was pronounced deceased at the scene.
State police were assisted at the scene by Marcellus Fire Department.
