The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) wants to help business owners take charge of the well-being of their companies and employees by being informed about the Affordable Care Act and its impact on health insurance.
Mohawk Valley business owners are invited to get help with healthcare planning at “Affordable Care Act & Health Insurance: What You Need to Know for Your Small Business” on Jan. 28. This free workshop will be presented by the SBA Syracuse District Office and the Women’s Business Center of New York State from 8 to 9:45 a.m. at the Radisson Hotel in downtown Utica. The workshop will provide an overview of the Affordable Care Act, tax credits for small businesses, individual and business mandates, individual marketplace, small business marketplace, and more.
Refreshments will be served at the free morning event.
