(New Hartford, NY – Aug. 2015) Bremer’s Wine and Liquor is happy to announce their donation of $15,000 to the Boys and Girls Club of the Mohawk Valley. The donation comes from the proceeds of the fourth annual Bremer’s Charity Open.
The charity event, which took place on June 17 at the Skenandoa Golf Club in Clinton proves to be a continued success. With the help of business partners and hole sponsorship, between $10,000 and $14,000 has been donated to the Boys and Girls Club in previous years in addition to the sum raised this year.
“We are involved in many area fundraisers and benefits. But hosting an event that directly benefits the youth of our community is one we are most proud to be aligned with,” said co-owner Tim Bremer. Business partner Eric Bremer agrees, saying, “Our tournament is a day to have fun for a great cause. It’s all about the kids.”
“There are after school programs that would not be possible without the direct support of this event,” said Wayne Baron, executive director of the Boys and Girls Club of the Mohawk Valley. “The kids really need these programs, and this event is one of our biggest benefactors each year.”
Tim and Eric Bremer encourage anyone who wishes to do so to make a donation to the Boys & Girls Club of the Mohawk Valley. Please call (315) 724-2524 for information on how you can donate.
