Jazz-Logo-2015-web(Cazenovia, NY – Sept. 2015) The 14th Annual AmeriCU Jazz-N-Caz will serve up another year of jazz and blues performances at the Catherine Cummings Theatre Sept. 17 through Sept. 19.

JT Hall Jazz Consort will kick off the line-up on Thursday evening with live music on the Brae Loch Inn lawn.

On Friday night in the theatre, Julia Goodwin will pair with pianist Chuck Lamb of the Brubeck Brothers Quartet and the Dan Brubeck Quartet, to perform songs from the Great American Songbook. Special guest Ria Curley will also join Lamb for a few selections.

Headliner Dan Brubeck Quartet will then celebrate the music and lyrics of Dave and Iola Brubeck and will feature Adam Thomas on vocals and bass, Mike DeMicco on guitar and Lamb on piano. The Lincklaen House – Seven Stone Steps will host a Jazz After Hours jam session open to all musicians.

Nick Ziobro and the Salt City Jazz Collective will cap off the weekend’s entertainment in the theatre on Saturday with combined and individual performances. Along with local artists, Ziobro, David Lowenstein, artist-in-residence and Colleen Prossner, theatre manager, will host a special “jazz break” tribute to honor Jimmy Van Heusen, and the Cazenovia High School Chamber Choirwill perform. A late night Jazz After Hours gathering will conclude the festivities.

The AmeriCU Jazz-N-Caz weekend is free and open to the public, however, a $10 donation is suggested for performances held in the theatre.
