(Town of Lenox, NY – Dec. 3, 2015) Following a three month investigation, Madison County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Investigators arrested Michael J. Funari, 49, of 2957 Seneca Turnpike, Canastota and charged him with second-degree Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance (Class A Felony), third-degree Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance (Class B Felony) third-degree Unlawful Manufacture of Methamphetamine (Class D Felony), and Unlawful Disposal of Methamphetamine Laboratory Material (Class E Felony).
Funari was arraigned at Lenox Town Court yesterday and remanded to the Madison County Jail in lieu of $15,000 cash or $20,000 bond, where he remains at the time of this being issued.
The residence remains unfit for occupancy per Madison County Environmental Health and Town of Lenox Codes Enforcement officials at this time due to significant contamination
