(Cazenovia, NY – Dec. 2015) In her 22 years of fronting bluegrass bands with her distinctive voice, Claire Lynch has won the International Bluegrass Music Association’s award for Female Vocalist of the Year three times. In 2014, she took a break from touring to record a seasonal project, entitled Holiday. It’s an inspired exploration of holiday songs old and new. The album includes original compositions, as well as soulful interpretations of “Scarlet Ribbons” and “It Came Upon a Midnight Clear”, and fun retro-style takes on “Home for the Holidays” and “White Christmas.”
The band will perform at the Catherine Cummings Theater in Cazenovia, presented by The Earlville Opera House, at 8 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 12.
Tickets for this show are $25 for adults, $15 for youth. Add $2 on the Day of Show.
