(Oneida, NY – Dec. 2015) Effective Jan. 4, two school crossing posts in the city of Oneida will no longer be covered; the post at Main and Walnut streets and Broad and Walnut streets. A review showed that no students were crossing at these posts. This was reviewed by city officials and Oneida City School District officials.
The posts will be covered until the Christmas break to provide time to alert everyone to this change. Crossing posts at Seneca Street School, N. Broad Street School on N. Broad and N. Main, Willard Prior and St. Patrick’s schools, East Avenue at Elizabeth and Walnut and Elizabeth will still be covered.
