On Tuesday, Feb. 23, the Utica Public Library held a reception for the winners of its 8th annual Express Yourself Adult Art Contest in the library gallery. Winners were chosen in 6 categories, with a tie in one category. Pictured from left are Tionna Reeves (Best of Show),Lynne Reichhart (Best Use of Detail), Kara Moats (Best Use of Color), and Marie-Laurence Daigle (Best Abstract). Not pictured are: Stephanie Roback (Best Use of B & W), and tied winners – Columbia Barbara Allen and Karen Lee Clements (Best Concept “Outside-the-Box”). The contest was made possible by Gerber’s 1933 Tavern.
