Oneida police patchNicole M. Sharp, 28, Stone St., Oneida, was charged March 18 with petit larceny. She is alleged to have stolen merchandise from Wal-Mart.

Grace M. Hodges, 42, Fyler Road, Chittenango, was charged March 19 with petit larceny. She is alleged to have stolen merchandise from Wal-Mart.

Katherine A. Joslyn, 28, no address available, was arrested March 20 on a bench warrant for allegedly failing to appear in court on charges of second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, speeding, failure to obey a traffic device and failure to notify of address change.

Michael J. Colvin, Jr., 22, Main Street, Oneida, was charged March 15 with second-degree criminal contempt, criminal obstruction of breathing and endangering the welfare of a child. Colvin is alleged to have violated a court order, to have put his hands around a female victim’s neck and throat and applied pressure interfering with her breathing, did this in the presence of a child less than 2 years old and pushed the child.

Gerald E. Ward, 84, Lake Road, Oneida, was issued an appearance ticket March 15 for an unregistered junk yard.

Joseph R. Clark, 50, Farrier Avenue, Oneida, was arrested March 16 on charges of second-degree unlawful imprisonment, resisting arrest and three counts of second-degree harassment. Clark is alleged to have unlawfully restrained another person from leaving an apartment by physically restraining, punching and slapping him. He is alleged to have resisted arrest and to have pushed and shoved police officers.

Jeffrey T. Coonrod, 24, Lenox Avenue, Oneida, was charged March 12 with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and assault. Coonrod allegedly, after being advised he was under arrest for disorderly conduct, resisted arrest by trying to pull away from a police officer, pinned the officer against a wall and severely bit the officer’s forearm, causing injury before being taken into custody. He was arraigned and committed to Madison County Jail in lieu of bail set at $2,500. The officer is undergoing treatment for the bite.

Dawn M. Smith, 51, Cleveland Avenue, Oneida, was charged March 11 with a violation of the city trash ordinance.

Benjamin Wheaton, 18, Sconondoa Street, Oneida, was issued an appearance ticket March 11 on a charge of unlawful possession of marijuana.

Sara A. Stanford, 37, West Elm Street, Oneida, was arrested March 7 on a bench warrant for allegedly failing to comply with pre-sentence requirements as directed by the court on a petit larceny charge.

Robert S. Atkinson, 44, West Railroad Street, Oneida, was arrested March 7 on charges of criminal obstruction of breathing, second-degree unlawful imprisonment and third-degree assault. Atkinson is alleged to have covered and applied pressure to a 43-year-old female’s nose, mouth and throat, obstructing her breathing; restrained the subject from leaving the apartment with threats and physical force, and did cause injury to her face and neck by choking, slapping, kicking and pushing the victim. The victim was treated at Oneida Healthcare Center.

Kyla R. Kelly, 34, Village Drive, Syracuse, was arrested March 7 on an arrest warrant for petit larceny. She is alleged to have stolen merchandise from Wal-Mart.

Tanaia M. Graham, 28, North Broad Street, Oneida, was charged March 4 with criminal obstruction of breathing and and second-degree harassment. She is alleged to have choked another person and to have grabbed that person by the throat and slam her into a wall. Graham was also arrested on a warrant on a charge of petit larceny.

Richard E. Branch, Jr., 19, Phelps Street, Oneida, was issued a criminal summons March 4 on a charge of second-degree harassment. He is alleged to have spit on another person’s face.

Brian T. Cole 46, Main Street, Oneida, was issued an appearance ticket March 5 on a charge of public possession of an open container of alcohol.

Tania E. Claus, 45, Old County Road, Canastota, was charged March 5 with petit larceny. She is alleged to have stolen merchandise from Wal-Mart.

Richard M. Vanslyke, 35, Fayette Street, Camden, was charged March 6 with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, operating with a suspended registration, operating without insurance and operating a vehicle without an interlock device.

Julie M. Carey, 35, Fayette Street, Camden, was charged with facilitating second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation.

Anthony P. Perior, 32, Main Street, Oneida, was charged March 4 with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. He is alleged to have possessed crack cocaine.
