(North Syracuse, NY – Feb. 4, 2013) On Feb. 3 the New York State Police conducted an Underage Drinking Initiative in the Onondaga County Towns of Elbridge, Camillus, and Geddes including the Villages of Elbridge, Camillus and Solvay.


As a result of the initiative the following locations were checked:

As a result of the initiative the following six subjects were charged with first-degree Unlawfully dealing with a child and Prohibitive sale of alcohol to a person under 21 years old:
Alison M. Pelton, age 19, of 34 Woodside Lane, Weedsport. Pelton is employed as a bartender at the Millstone Golf Course in Elbridge. Pelton was issued an Appearance Ticket returnable to the Elbridge Town Court.

Joseph A. Rodgers, age 51, of 6 East Lake Road, Skaneateles.  Rodgers is the owner/operator of the Elbridge Wine & Spirits store in Elbridge.  Rodger was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Elbridge Town Court.

Quannisha A. Benton, age 29, of 4320 South Salina Street, Syracuse.  Benton is employed as a cashier at Walmart SuperCenter store in Camillus.  Benton was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Camillus Court.

Maria C. Fisher, age 26, of 4650 Kasson Road, Syracuse.  Fisher is employed as a bartender at the Applebee’s Bar and Grill located in Camillus.   Fisher was issued an Appearance ticket returnable to the Camillus Town Court.

Natasha K McGraw, age 27, of Cumberland Avenue, Syracuse.  McGraw is employed as a bartender at Pooch’s Leisure Room in Solvay.  McGraw was issued an Appearance ticket returnable to the Village of Solvay Court.

Jessica A. Paglia, age 27, of 125 Van Rennselear Avenue, Syracuse.  Paglia is employed as a bartender at the Lamont Tavern located in Solvay.  Paglia was issued an Appearance ticket returnable to the Village of Solvay Court.

Businesses where a violation takes place are referred to the New York State Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control. Alcohol consumption by underage consumers has a profound effect on our communities. Teen alcohol consumption is related to traffic accidents, fatalities and crime. The New York State Police would like to thank Onondaga County businesses for their support in preventing underage drinking.
