(Syracuse, NY – July 26, 2013) Street rods, hotdogs, and music are all part of FocalPoint Federal Credit Union’s 3rd Classic Car Cruise-In, to be held Monday, Aug. 12.
Members of CNY Street Rods and other owners will be on hand with their classic cars at the event, set for 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., at the credit union, 6555 Ridings Road, Syracuse. Music will be provided by DJ Pete, and will feature special entertainment by C.O.A.S.T., a youth music ministry in Syracuse. Car lovers are welcome and are invited to bring items to be donated to the Food Pantry.
“This event is basically a block party,” says Marilyn Marra-Crolick, CEO at FocalPoint. “The business park community around Carrier Circle is spread out, so this gives the folks who live and work in the area, and other car lovers, a chance to meet.”
The event will include a hotdog wagon, door prizes, and street rods (1948 and earlier), and street machines (1949 and after) from throughout the area.
