(Norwich, NY – Aug. 2013) Tom Morrone, Chenango County Republican Committee Chairman, announced that the Chenango County Republican Committee will have an informational booth at this year’s 166th Chenango County Fair.
The fair runs from Tuesday, Aug. 6 through Sunday Aug. 11. The booth will be located in Exhibition Hall at the Fairgrounds in Norwich. In addition to the booth, the Republican Committee is sponsoring an ice cream social on Saturday night, Aug. 10 at 7 p.m. in exhibition hall.
This year’s booth and ice cream social provides the public with the opportunity to meet Republican candidates, committee members, elected officials, and learn more about the election process and the Republican Party. In making the announcement of the informational booth and ice cream social, Morrone said “For many years we had a booth at the Fair. There was great interest in restarting this tradition. I encourage all area residents to stop by to learn more about us.”
The Chenango County Republican Committee is the official Republican organization in Chenango County. The Committee is staffed by volunteer members representing party members from municipalities throughout Chenango County.
