(Herkimer, NY – Aug. 2013) Herkimer County Community College recently commended faculty and staff of the Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) A.A.S. program for their contributions to their students’ success.
During 2012 and 2013, Herkimer’s PTA students achieved a 97 percent pass rate on the PTA National Board exams, and 29 students became nationally certified by the Professional Examination Service.
President Ann Marie Murray thanked faculty members Dr. Karen Jones and Dr. Catherine Delorme and Associate Dean of Academic Affairs Henry Testa for their commitment to their students and the College.
“The students’ success is our success as an institution, and it is due to the hard work, time, dedication and focus that our faculty and staff have put into the program. We are proud to be associated with such exceptional faculty members,” said Murray.
