(Marcellus, NY – Nov. 2013) Baltimore Woods’ fifth annual Member’s Show will showcase works by forty-four local artists from Nov. 4 to Dec. 20. An artist reception for the Drawing on Talent show will be held on Saturday, Nov. 9, from 2 to 4pm. The exhibit and reception are open to the public with no admission or parking fee.
The exhibit includes a wide range of artwork, including pastels, watercolors, oil paintings, photography, gouache, pottery, fiber art, sculpture and jewelry. The majority of the artwork is for sale and there is an opportunity to purchase unique gifts for the holidays.
Participating artists are all members of Baltimore Woods Nature Center, which is a member supported organization. “We have a great member turnout this year! We’re lucky to have such a talented, diverse group of artists supporting, and being supported by, Baltimore Woods Nature Center,” says exhibiting artist and member Karen Burns.
Baltimore Woods installs six art exhibits annually. Upcoming exhibits in 2014 will feature Stacia Landsberg, Christy Lemp, Chris Murray and the Marcellus Skaneateles Art Guild, among others.
