(Oneida County, NY – July 2014) The Oneida County Association of Towns (OCAOT) has scheduled their next dinner meeting for Tuesday, July 15 at the Town of Trenton Park Pavilion. Laird Petrie from the Office of the New York State Comptroller will discuss fraud prevention controls. The meeting starts promptly at 6 p.m. The guest speaker will begin after dinner has been served.

“The last couple of meeting we held, we went with the two guest speaker format for each,” said Fritz Scherz, OCAOT President. “However, given the topic Mr. Petrie will be speaking on, we wanted to allow him more time to elaborate on it. I am hopeful of seeing many of my colleagues from local government inOneida County at the July 15th meeting and encourage those interested to sign up right away.”

The OCAOT has a goal of helping towns obtain greater economy and efficiency, and to provide learning and networking opportunities for town officials. Officials from local government in Oneida County are welcome to attend all OCAOT meetings.

The cost per attendee is $15. For reservations, contact Fritz at:fritz@fritzscherz.com or call: (315) 363-3509 no later than July 11.
