(Syracuse, NY – Feb. 2015) VNA Homecare is pleased to announce that Amy E. Davis, LPN has been promoted to Director of the ElderCare Social Day Program.
In her new role, Davis will be responsible for the development, coordination, supervision and fiscal management of services provided through the social day program, which offers a safe, protective home-like setting for individuals with long-term care needs.
Prior to this promotion, Davis served as the Assistant Manager of Clinical Services, where she assisted in the management of the scheduling and nursing departments, investigated and resolved complaints in conjunction with the Director of Human Resources and maintained a positive working relationship with contract agency scheduling and supervisory personnel.
Davis joined Home Aides of Central New York, a division of VNA Homecare, in 2010 as a Clinical Coordinator, bringing with her more than six years of home care experience. She is a graduate of the Herkimer County Career Tech Center’s Adult Practical Nursing Program.
