(Marcy, NY – Feb. 3, 2015) The New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation in Marcy is continuing the investigation into the unattended death of a woman who was found on Barnes Avenue in the Town of Marcy on Sunday Feb. 1.
Two hikers out for a walk located 50 year-old, Patricia Jachowski, a Utica resident, unresponsive near the Barnes Avenue Canal Bridge. At this time there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding her death.
An autopsy was conducted Feb. 2 at the Onondaga County Medical Examiner’s Office and the cause and manner of death remain pending additional studies.
